    Add jfkansas on Thingiverse
Mcmaster Carr or similar supply company. Usually a 100 or so screws is like 5-10 bucks or so.

They are socket head M3 screws and hexagon M3 nuts for the most part.

yep I get mine from either amazon or the asian hardware shop in swadlincote. If he doesn't sell it - I doubt you'll ever need it :-)
I've got both the hex socket ones and normal phillips head ones that work just as well.

    All m3

If you are buying some then take care not to get JIS head. You will not have a screwdriver to fit them.

I also doubt that you get Philips head, I don't think anyone makes them any more for anything do they?

crosshead - always called them phillips

Well looking the diagram I definitely mean phillips. Can't see what the issue is with the jis either looks the same.
You just get a flat bladed screwdriver that fits, like normal ;-)

I bought a bunch of screws/nuts from Bolt Depot. Metric Bolts are very rare in any stores in my area. I wound up getting a bunch of M3 bolts in various lengths, that I keep around for projects that require them. I was happy with their service, and the price was not bad.

All the bolts I bought have hex heads, but, as their name implies, they have a variety of types.

    Cheers,

    John

    thanks guys,

bought a mixed set of these

to see if any would work in the way i want.

just to say these are not for my printer, but parts i printed, i wanted style of the print bolts, and while i can get them i think these look better and may end up redoing my printer with these.
