weird - they loaded fine an hour ago.
Switched computers and they showed up on this one.

Appear to have been deleted from the server now.
I haven't said anything nasty about brian recently either :-)
I'll reload them when i go back in the house.

    Try that.

Cheapest PLA I bought off Ebay was £6.99. Printed jut fine. Just bought 5 rolls of red Exelvan ABS off Ebay for £7 each, and so far have gotten really nice results, and have used up two rolls. Easy to do with a 0.8mm nozzle and layer heights of 0.4mm.

I bought branded PLA a while back for £17 a roll and was not overly impressed. So, it seems to be a case of luck of the draw.

    £6.99 for 1kg ?
    give me the link !

One thing I have found 'interesting'.
Are the reviews on amazon for sunlu filament.

2 of them are by so called professional reviewers who get given stuff and then give it a 5 star review.

On both the flexible and non-flexible filament pages there is a review by one of these 'pro' reviewers.
And neither one of them owns a 3d printer !

One review basically goes: 'they sent me this filament for 3d printers, I don't have a 3d printer but it did come in bubble wrap.'
    And even that is wrong.
It comes vacpacked in a cardboard box.

Why on earth would you send something for review to a person who can't even use it ?????

And if anyone's wondering where my flexismart review is - I'm desperately trying to find something nice to say about it before typing it up.

So I've been having a few first layer issues the last few days.

Bits of filament sticking up and catching.
Just went to print an expanding filament spool - and it was a mess.

Decided to take my own advice (it happens occasionally)
Upped the print temp to 220c and the bed temp to 70 (which gives an ACTUAL surface temp of 62) that sucker is now going down as smooth as a sandblasted baby's arse that's been coated in teflon !

So if you're printing sunlu pla on printbite - 220c and actual bedtemp at 60.
