    Which 3d printer for school

    Hello.

I am sorry because my english is not perfect, but its not my native language. I am working in school with children with special needs. And now we got money from donations and we will buy 3D printer. School is located in Slovenia, Europa. I just need one advice. Boss said I am responsible for 3D printer. And now I am in dilema to chose between Markerbot Replicator (2400 euro) or Wanhao Dupicator 4S (1100 euro). And in that money for Replicator they give us 3 hour introduction tutorial for 3 persons and that is it. But for Duplicator we can get for 2300 euro Duplicator 4S + scanner (wich one I dont know) + 3 mounths for support whatever we need + 12 hours 3 person tutorial + 6 hours 3 persons tutorials of modeling in that.

Can you please tell me what you think would be better? Is replicator so much better that it would make so much better products? Because i think it would be much easier for us to choose Duplicator 4S, because we are all noobs in school for 3d printing.

    Greetings, Peter

I would go with the printer that is completely enclosed. You don't want any little hands or fingers getting caught in anything. Wanhao seems to have a good reputation. Makerbot, not so much...

The Polar 3d printer is popular with schools and schools can get discounted prices off the initial cost of the printer.
