Plastic Scribbler Asterid 1100 3D Printer

Yet another 3D printer has been announced today. This one is from Plastic Scribbler, the makers of the Asterid 1000S printer.

The Asterid 1100 costs $689 and has several new useful features over and beyond that of the 1000S model. Anyone intend to purchase this thing?

This is a really good printer for $689. At least it seems that way. I guess you don't know until you actually print with it. For the specs, the price is awesome though.

I can tell you, I heard only good things about the 1000S model. The additions that the 1100 has seems to warrant the price increase. For $689 it's probably one of the better printers for the money.
