3d Printed Chess Set + MPCNC Routered Board :)

So I finally wrapped on a fairly lengthy project.

300+ hours in to this project includes

3d printed chess pieces on my muve3d.net 3d printer
3d printed Mostly Printed CNC (MPCNC vicious1.com) machine for routering the grooves and cutting the wood from a solid 34mm piece of oak.
and of course a lot of time staining, editing videos etc.

I think it came together rather well.
    see for yourself

Nice man! that's alot of effort. You got me interested in those Viscious1 CNC's now... only question is where do I fit it..

Thanks Geoff... Its a fun project man.. More than anything its versatile. I just ordered a laser last night that will be here tomorrow.. easy tool head swap and now I can cut wood, engrave, cut acrylic etc. You can mount a extruder on it and use it as a 3d printer as well. this thing is ultra versatile.

lol - a fully printed cnc: except for the: motors, wires, guide rails, conduits, nuts, bolts, drive belts.
I suspect our definitions of 'fully printed' vary quite considerably :-)
That said - it's an impressive bit of home made kit. :-)

its called the Mostly printed CNC kit not the fully perhaps I slipped and said fully...
It was the closest I could get to a non store bought CNC that would fulfill my 3d printed project
