Convert Architectural Drawings to 3D Printable Models?
Does anyone know how to convert an architectural drawing of a home or building into a 3D printable model for printing? Is it even possible?
I'd love to do this with my architects plans for my future home before I sign a contract to build. I'd love to see what the house would look like in a 3d printed model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if you can get the original file and convert to an AutoCad DWG file then it is easy.
open the file in AutoCad and extrude the walls etc to the height you want. Or if you just have the hardcopy drawing, you can transfer the drawing and dimensions into any 3D moddelling software.
any quetsions send me a PM
