    Print help needed

    Hello, The problem im having is you can see the tall round part has a scar type pattern on one side. Over all it looks good I just wanted to know what causes this. All other prints turn out really nice. Printer is a monoprice architect 3d

    Could be a number of issues.

    Without more information, my advice would be to try changing some of the parameters of your prints. For example increase the retraction settings and perhaps slow your printer down a bit.

    Somewhere in your slicer (I use slic3r), there is likely a setting for 'seam position'.
    It looks like your seam position is set to 'aligned'; this starts each layer at the same point, causing the 'scar' or 'ridge'.
    Try changing this option to 'random'.
