    Getting a 3D Printer

So a friend gave me an old partially assembled/broken Prusa I2, I do not have the skills to fix it, it's also nearly 10 years old. I wan't to buy a new 3D printer possibly a Prusa I3 and then hopefully be able to use some of the Prusa I2 as extra parts. Im good at soldering, and have experience with arduino. I just don't have the skills to jump in and fix the Prusa I2, maybe after I learn about these printers I could.

Basically im asking if buying a new Prusa I3 is a good idea? Do they have good instructions on how to assemble? Im in the 300-400 dollar price range, I know it isn't a ton, but I think I can get a decent printer for the price. Im not expecting a perfect printer, im going into this knowing it WILL require soldering repairing and probably help from you folks on the forum. Would you recommend the Prusa I3? And if so where should I buy it in?
    Located in the: USA

Also what tools would you reccomend that I need? (Other than solder, soldering iron, screwdrivers, pliers, and tweezers?
Oh yeah, also planning on printing ABS and im assuming a heated bed is a MUST.

    What about this?
