    Exclamation Davinci Jr Filament Issue

Hello, I am new to owning 3d printers. I have recently obtained the DaVinci Jr 3d Printer for Christmas, and I have a few issues. First off, on the spool there is an RFID chip to notify the user when one is low on filament. The spool comes with 100m of plastic. Currently, my printer says I have 28m out of 100m left on the spool. Every time I try to print something, even if it is only 10m, it will not print the object and says, "filament cartridge is low." This is confusing because the spool costs $25 and it wont let me use 28m of it (7 dollars worth of filament). If you know why it is saying low cartridge, please let me know.

Also, when I print larger items, the filament seems to bow a little at the bottom and lift off of the bed. DaVinci includes bed tape but it isn't very sticky. Would using a glue-stick help this problem?

    Much Thanks,
    Dillon
