Accidentally Infringing on Intellectual Property Via 3D Design

When South Korea's ROKIT introduced their new Skinflex 3D printing material recently, a design created with it appeared familiar to Australia-based XYZ Workshop. Through a series of unlikely events, ROKIT inadvertently--allegedly accidentally--used XYZ's InBloom dress design, even winning a Korean design competition. Intellectual property infringement in the 3D printing space is becoming an ever-apparent large issue, with many facets involved once a 3D design is released.
