I want to be able to print a part from first try, just as I do print 2D (documents). What I see on my compjuter, I see on paper. I just add ink and paper. That would be, according to me, hassle-free 3D printing.
which is exactly what I do.

Now to get to that point took 9 months of printerless research and learning cad, followed by 12 months with 1 and then 2 printers to wqork out what works, what doesn't and how to get the best from the printers.

I can now pretty much print what i want when I want it. Short of filament breaking or my just not being arsed to calibrate the bed when I know it needs doing - it all works the way I want it to.

Any printer will do this - if you learn how to use it :-)
