    Looking to Purchase...Noob

    Greetings...

    I have an stl file that I need to print, and plan on having more files to print in the future. All printed items will be smaller than 6", and I'm looking to purchase a printer. My budget is $1k, and one printer I've looked at is the FlashForge Creator Pro. I know absolutely nothing about 3D printers. My printed items are going to be used to create molds, so the product doesn't need to be strong, but I don't want to limit myself if the printer could be used for something other than my work down the road. Can anyone advise?
    Thanks in advance.

    Not really enough to go on...

    Detail of print? Require special material? Speed? Quiet operation? Need upgradability?

    Sebastian, I have nothing to compare to. I would like to have the tightest detail for the budget. No special material. Quiet operation isn't much of a concern unless it sounds like a jack hammer, and shakes my house. Upgradability...sure, as long as it's feasible. Thanks again.

    Printrbot simple is upgradable, affordable, simple to use, auto levelling and the company is supportive.

    I also recommend Printrbot, Ultimaker for a wider option. They have great quality prints and their printers and customer support is quick and reliable. However, if you want to stick with FFCP, it's fine too. FFCP is also a great printer!

    +++ x 1,000,000

    I just got mine. It IS a FlashForge Creator Plus for almost half the price!

    I'm loving it so far
