I need something resistant to cracking under load. PLA is VERY brittle imo.
ABS is probably perfect.
I have no clue how flexible (or at least resistant to cracks) PETG is. I wish I had a printed piece 3mm thick x 15mm wide by 70mm long to try.
Anyone want to print me one? I'll pay for shipping.

PETG is actually more flexible (slightly) than abs i think. it can withstand more shock too... PETG is REALLY strong stuff.. i prefer it greatly over ABS

If someone would print for me a 3mm thick x 16mm wide by 80mm long PETG sample piece I'd gladly pay shipping

id be happy to, except that im in a transition in my makerspace and my printers are packed away while i remodel it just buy a spool of esun petg on amazon for like 20$
