    USPS Thoroughly Examines 3D Printing

    The Office of the Inspector General of the USPS has written another white paper regarding 3D printing, as they expand their vision regarding the technology and how they can profit from it. In An Update on 3D Printing and the Postal Service, the OIG recommends that the USPS begin to closely examine how they can get in on the action 3D printing is providing now--rather than later. They predict a greater need for last-mile delivery, as well as manufacturing being completed much closer to delivery points.     Maybe they should stick to getting mail here on time without loosing it and leave the 3D printing to someone who knows what they are doing.

    Heh, as someone who has had constant trouble getting (and sending to others) mail in a timely fashion with them, they probably need to leave delivering mail to someone that knows what they are doing as well...

    Hmm, on the other hand it would be a great way to earn a few bucks. Being an end delivery manufacturing point for a postal service.
    Giving that 3d hubs pretty much just concentrates on numbers of hubs rather than any actual jobs for the hubs.

    Now we just need to idea to take off in the uk :-) South derbyshire in particular ;-)
