    "The Sacred Scarab"

    One of my big approaches to 3D Printing has been trying to integrate it with sculpting. I've been pursuing applications with mold making for the lost-wax or resin casting process, but this is a piece I did as a one-off. It was initially created in Zbrush and 3D printed. It's kind of a mash up between ancient scarab motifs and the alien xenomorph. Creature design is something I enjoy tremendously.
