Overextrusion - How to adjust filament feedrate?

I believe I'm getting some overextrusion I've seen a tutorial where the guy sets the printer to feed a 100mm length of filament and then measures how much actually passed through the extruder.

Where do I find the settings page to do this? is it in the Slicing software or a printer firmware setting?

    I have

    Sailfish 7.6
    Slic3r
    Makerware
    RepG

Did you try a Smaller nozzle size ?
What size are you using now?

We found that a .3mm size works best with our printer.

Sometime the Actual nozzle opening is Not what it's supposed to be
so we use drill-bits to measure new nozzles.

You can purchase Sets of various size nozzles at eBay, at low cost.

BTW: I've seen a test like that for a filament 'Making' extruder,
but Not for a Printer extruder.

Thanks, It has the nozzle it came with 0.4 I was unaware you could chop/change nozzles around (still very much a noob to all this) I'll look into it.

This is the Tutorial I was referring to, http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...ur-3d-Printer/ I don't know if its even possible to access the settings that are shown on a CTC with Sailfish. I looked through RepG but couldn't find anything similar, was hoping someone had been down this path before.

    thanks.
