China's 18 Foot Diameter 3D Printer Coming Soon
Talk about impressive. A Chinese company is working on a 3D printer capable of a print diameter of 18 feet.

China already has several industrial scale metal 3D printers capable of printing large parts for air crafts. They clearly are trying to compete with the manufacturing technology of the west.

I'd love to have one of this in my garage. I can't imagine how awesome that would be. What's the price of these? Anyone know?

Are these going to be available in the US or just in Asia? How quickly do they print? Would it take days to print something large?
