Natasha Hope-Davis lost her leg in 2013 after being struck by a car. Rather than allowing herself to become defeated, she used 3D printing to design her own customized prosthetic leg. Since then, she has dedicated herself to research that will allow a mass audience to inexpensively design their own prosthetics. 3D Systems, whose software was utilized to create Hope-Davis' leg, will be hosting an online webinar on September 17th, where Hope-Davis will discuss her design process and research.
