3D Printed Mood Glasses Provide Odd Visual Effects
Hungarian designer Bence Agoston was challenged with designing a personal object for a classmate. When he discovered that they had a common interest in psychedelic music, he set about creating a pair of glasses that would enhance the listening experience. The frames, 3D printed in ABS plastic, accept a combination of a set of six different patterned lenses. The lenses can also be rotated in relationship to each other and provide a psychedelic viewing experience best had while looking out of the window of a moving vehicle. The view isn't clear, so they're not good for navigating, but it is interesting and helps you to experience the music on a different level. I love projects like these every so often; not really helpful, but they do show a strong spirit of collaboration! And, let's face it, those would be fun to try on...at least for a few minutes.
