Rayee Unique SLA LCD 3D Printer

Here's yet another crowdfunding project for a 3D Printer. This time it's a Chinese company called Rayee. The printer uses stereolithography technology, in a way that typical SLA printers don't function. Instead of a laser or DLP projector it uses an LCD screen to emit the light to cure the resin, so that it can print an entire layer at once. Pretty incredible idea. More info here: http://3dprint.com/5429/rayee-lcd-sla-3d-printer/ Here are some of the printer's Specs:

    Printer Size: 270 mm(L) x 190 mm(W) x 300 mm(H)
Printer Weight: 5.8 Kg (12.8 lbs)
    Horizontal Resolution: 0.1333 mm
    Vertical Resolution: 0.022 - .2 mm
    Build Speed: 22 vertical mm/hour

Here is a prototype of the Rayee 3D Printer:

It's clever. And the resolution can go up a bit more yet for future improvements. More panels that are 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 in that general size can possibly yield even crisper parts.

Anyone know is this printer ever made it? Doesn't seem like it... How about the Kast? Are there any LCD SLA 3D printers in production?
