When Slovenian student Vod Kok was looking around on Thingiverse for a model to make on his 3D printer, he came across the Make It Float design challenge from MakerBot--and found his inspiratoin there to create his own design. Having seen his own "pop pop" engines on YouTube, he decided to 3D print a boat run by one. The design worked even better than Kok had expected, with the candle-powered system functioning impressively. The files for his pop pop boat are now available for others to download on Thingiverse.
