The Spirograph hit the shelves in the 1960s and has been popular among kids and adults alike for its ability to easily and quickly draw complex geometric shapes. Latvian metal worker Valdis Torms has recently come up with, and made available on Thingiverse, a design for a 3D printed spirograph. Consisting of an outer spur gear and an inner spur gear with holes to fit a pen/pencil, the spirograph was designed using Solidworks and works best printed at a high resolution.
