Help diagnosing issue with Plate dimensions

I have a Prusia i3 model with an aluminum heated plate, It's physical dimensions are 220mm square, due to the y Carriage the usable Y area is about 170 but the X axis I can manually move beyond the 220 mark so I should be able to use it. But no matter what I do My X will not go beyond 200, and there is a mismatch from real plate to the virtual plate... I suppose I am missing something here.

What firmware are you running on the printer? Marlin has limits for the axis maximum dimensions in file configuration.h: X_MAX_POS, Y_MAX_POS, and Z_MAX_POS. They'll limit the range of movement, even if gcode specifies a larger value.

It is Marlin. I've been trying to get a copy of the installed version to modify.
