Japanese 3D Print Buddhist Statues for Temples
Temples in Japan have begun 3D printing copies of their valuable Buddhist statues. Because of theft within the country, students and one abbot of a temple have resorted to 3D printing to create copies of these statues. The originals are then given to museums, while the copies are used within the temples. Quite a unique idea. Read and see more at: http://3dprint.com/70693/3d-printed-buddhist-statue/
