I know this is an old thread, but wouldn't using a float in this manner have center of gravity issues which would tilt the printed object?

I see what your saying jontelling,
I think the density of the resin and the brine could be kept very close to help minimize this effect
I think the effect would be very subtle, and in my experience very subtle thinks can cause big problems.
hopefully some one builds and tests this so we can find out
