Shapeways has added a Pilots Hub that features new materials, services, and tools -- allowing designers a more streamlined ability to follow new pilot programs and sign up or be waitlisted to participate. Also, three new materials have been added to the materials being piloted: Interlocking Metal, Alumimum, and Black Nylon 11 (which is printed in powder form). Now, designers have more options for being ahead of the pack when it comes to new materials with the Pilots Hub page devoted to making it easy and enjoyable to experiment with 3D designing and printing.
