Last February, Stratasys showcased an impressive, functional set of 3D printed skis--co-founder and then-CIO Scott Crump hit the slopes wearing them. In addition to those skis, this year at RAPID Conference & Expo in Long Beach, CA, Stratasys will unveil another snowbound creation in the form of a fully 3D printed snowboard. The snowboard was created in three sections using Stratasys Fortus Production 3D printers, taking 170 hours of print time. Another 50 hours of print time were dedicated to bindings.
