    Question Replicator 2 or Witbox

    Hello everyone!

    I'm new here and i would like to get into 3D printing. I was looking for some of this kind of threads on this board, some of them got neglected. I hope mine doesn't.
    The thing is, i cannot decide between the older MakerBot Replicator 2 or the new Witbox.
    The Witbox seems to be great value for the price, but after seeing this review i'm pretty unsettled again.
    The makerbot replicator 2 is about in the same pricerange at the moment in my country. (2'000 CHF)

    I would like to know which one you would pick upon your expirience.

    The witbox is a nice looking machine with large build volume but without a heated bed and only one extruder you are limiting yourself to PLA material. Both printers are open source which is a deal breaker for me if they are not.
