    One of the other things that you can do if you aren't using OpenScad is use 3YOURMIND http://3yourmind.com to verify your file before sending it to print. You just upload the file for free to their platform, you can run a data analyzation to ensure that it is printable, select your material from quite a few different 3D print service providers and order.

    Or if you are printing on your own printer (like I often do) - run the file check and then download the file locally so that you can print it!
