    CTC Dual 3D printer

Hello, I bought myself a CTC 3D printer the other day, fed up of having to outsource 3D printing for my model making.

It arrived yesterday. After a bit of fettling like levelling the bed and setting the extruders to the same height I managed to print the simple cube supplied on the SD card.

I made up my own program today (to print a Buddha statue out) in PLA material. Everything was going fine, it was at around 85% complete then suddenly the whole machine turned off.

I turned the power off and left it for 5 mins. I then put the power back on. The screen lit up for about 2 seconds then turned off again.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

I was printing PLA at around 230 degrees C and the bed at 50 Degrees C.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks, Peter

yeah check the cooling fan on the board is running. If not check the wires in the connector all the way and tighten the screws.
I know when I fit the cooling ducts you have to really screw the connectors down tight to get a good connection.
