    fan 0 fan 1 ports

    so im finishing up the build and only have my x carriage to finish wiring and was wondering why you hook the hexagon hotend cooling fan to the power supply vs. using the rumba board fan0 or fan 1 ports to control it

    Which board are you using? There are a few threads here on using FAN1 to control the cooling fan with RUMBA. I used a spare thermistor cable and plugged the fan into a 2 pin +12v power lead on my RUMBA.
