3D printers are launching all the time, especially on crowdfunding sites. Some of them are truly eye-catching, with an extra something to offer, and the Gala 3D printer seems to be among these. Mariano Ronchi, CEO of Drotix, took the time to fill in 3DPrint.com about some of the new FFF-based 3D printer, which was designed with affordability and quality in mind. Ronchi and a group of colleagues designed the full-feature Gala to appeal to both hobby and professional users, with a large build envelope, fast and precise printing, and ease of use high among the list of specifications. The WiFi-compatible 3D printer can start print jobs remotely and be monitored via on-board camera. The Kickstarter campaign is slated to start on April 21 with 'Super Early Bird' pricing at $1,300, while the full retail price will be $1,800.
