Need help, printer is not print well.

    Hello,

can someone help me. I have a wanhao duplicator 4s and I made a model in sketchup, its a ring. The ring has a diameter of 100mm and has a thickness of 5 mm. The printer is not making a nice round 5mm thickness but it is a kind of triangle. What can I do about this?

    Add Marm on Thingiverse
Post up the skp and stl files so we can compare. Your stl converter may have bungled the circles. Does the slicer appear to handle the circles ok? Try downloading another similar ring from thingiverse or somewhere and see if that prints. The guys that know gcode could help you out there if that's the problem.

Thanks for your answer. I have made the 2 rings also in 123d design with the same results.
I will send you those files but I don't know how.

    Best Regards,

Hmm - like marm said, download a round thing from thingiverse and try it. sounds like one of the belts might be slipping.

Print the first few layers of this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:726275

    that is definitely circular :-)
If it comes out anything other than aperfect circle - then you've got hardware issues.
