    Printing PetG

I am struggling with Printing PETG
    I have a Makerfarm i3v 12"
with Direct E3Dv6 .4 Hotend and im using a Bondtech v2 geared Extruder
    Printing with 3mm Natural PETG
Printing onto a PEI Sheet ontop of Borslicate glass
printing 235 degrees hotend, 120 bed
    60mm/sec
    1.5mm retraction
    2mm coast

the extruder is skipping steps.. trying to push the PETG into the Hotend. its not slipping as the Bondtech has great grip.
but sometimes the fastest it will extrude is .5mm sec

seems like the E3Dv6 is clogging but i dont know how to prevent it from happening

235 is too cold. Run the e3d at 255 with pet. Also on another note,120 on the bed is waaay unnecessary. The stuff barely warps as it is. Lower the bed to 80c. Thats more than hot enough

well I added a fan blowing onto my Rambo board, cooling down the Stepper drivers
turned down the digipots for the stepper motor and increased the extrusion temp to 255
so far so good.. no missed steps.. 1.5hrs into a 7hr print

yeah you cant really go by what they recommend since every hot end is different. its just a general guide, nothing more. i just know the temp with the e3d since i have 3 printers all with the v6 and have printed probably 16 kilos of petg through them. 245-255 is your magic #.
