Nathan Cohen, the founder of Fractal Antenna Systems, says the design of his company's antennas is both more effective and more flexible than competing systems. FAS uses 3D design and printing to cut costs and time to market for their sophisticated metamaterial and wireless antenna systems. According to Cohen, 3D printing allows his dedicated team of designers to go into production for a given system in days or weeks rather than months, and the technology allows his company to make products in small production runs.
