Hong Kong-based guitar teacher and 3D printing enthusiast Daniel Yu became a little less enthusiastic about his 3D printer when he realized that most of the designs on Thingiverse weren't multi-use, and weren't his designs. After putting his 3D printer away for 6 months, he reignited his own enthusiasm by deciding to design his own unique do-it-all creation: a pen that can become a number of other objects. After designing using 123D Design, Yu's pen can be: a ballpoint pen; a smartphone stand (two varieties); a hex key; a toy gun; and more! He's made his design available on Thingiverse.
