John Bokla says it was his frustration with teaching methods during his time as an architectural engineering student that led his to put together the i3D Creatives Launchpad. It's a set of interactive tools to teach kids from 8 to 15 years old the basics of 3D design using 123D Design and soon, Tinkercad, software. Bokla says the nine modules and ten lessons included in the i3D Creatives Launchpad will be supplemented with non-3D printing related curriculum additions in the future.
