MakerOS - Run our 3D Printer Service Business

Mike Moceri of Manulith says he was looking for a way to manage his 3D printing service and design bureau in Detroit, and he couldn't find the right tool. So he made one himself; makerOS. According to Moceri, the cloud-based business management and quoting service includes a wide range of features which make managing a Maker business more efficient. The service, which will launch in beta later this year, takes a small cut of each transaction and offers a payment gateway and 3D file viewer. Detroit? I am stunned. I didn't think anyone was left in Detroit.

Pretty nice looking package. If I was looking at this as a business, I think I would look pretty closely at this platform.

MakerOS, a cloud platform designed to offer business tools for makers and 3D printing services has launched from private beta status to public beta testing mode, with all those who signed up during the summer now on board for a long list of features that will allow businesses to streamline staff and customer communications, project management, and details like giving quotes and receiving payments.
