New ABS filament coming out in a corkscrew pattern when loaded?

    Hi all,

Got my Creator Pro dialled in on ABS and really happy with the quality of the prints. Still not managed to print in PLA successfully yet but that's an issue for another thread.

This morning I went to load a new reel of Yellow ABS, from the same supplier as pervious stuff I've used successfully, but when running the load program it comes out of the extruder in this weird corkscrew pattern. Thinking it was an issue with the filament (I checked, it is 1.75mm ABS, same as per other stuff!), I loaded another new red reel, same exact issue.

Revert to the blue I was using and all is OK. All three reels are the exact same supplier.

    What causes this?

Try upping the heat a little. Some colors in the same brand need a little more heat. At first I was thinking the nozzle is blocked, but it went away when you put the blue back in.
