Heroes in a half shell have been a fan favorite since the '80s, when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first came onto the scene with a popular animated series that has since branched out into more television shows and movies. TMNT fan Terry Smith has loved the franchise for years, and thanks to 3D printing is now able to use design to bring the turtles to his young son. MyMiniFactory asked Smith to model TMNT figures to make available for free download, and Smith was more than happy to oblige. Each turtle was individually sculpted in ZBrush, and MyMiniFactory 3D printed and then pained the figures to show their potential.
