    3D Printing Pen

Hello everyone. Has anyone of you ever heard of a thing called 3D printing pen? I was surfing internet looking for presents, and I have found this interesting thing on EBay.

The idea is that it looks like a pen, but you can draw with it like with a 3D printer (up, down and etc). Has anyone had or have one? Is it worth trying? Please let me know what you think.

    Here are the listings: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...Text=&_sacat=0

These things are just hand-held extruders. They really have nothing to do with 3D printing, but can be used to draw parts in plastic by hand. They don't draw very well in mid-air; you'll get best results by making flat parts and assembling them into 3D objects.

If you really want to print a 3D printing pen, why not print one yourself?

These pen are as somebody say a extruder pen, basically just melt the filament, but that is not the point. The point is you can actually build things with it layer for layer manually. It is quite fun if you are creative.

After a lot of research, I think Creopop is the most versatile.
