GCodeInfo App
German software engineer Mathias Dietz works for IBM in Germany on an enormous software effort, and in the evenings, he enjoys designing and printing "useful" objects on his RepRap Prusa Mendel printer. Over the last few years, Dietz has built a suite of tools to make his printing efforts less labor intensive and more predictable, and he now offers them through his website. His GCodeInfo App, the latest of those tools, is now available free in the Google Play Store. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/45741/gcodeinfo-a...or-3d-printing

Tried the app but it failed to load any of the gcode files I tried (running android 4.4.4 on my nexus 5). A sample gcode file I tried was: https://www.dropbox.com/s/opkbanzr3v...ose.gcode?dl=0

Yes - I conacted Mathias via email, and was impressed to have a fixed version the next day. Awesome.

Awesome. I just dont understand one thing. If I slice a file on my computer, do I have to upload the gcode file to my phone somehow since it has the app?

To run it through the analyzer - yes. I use Dropbox, so I just put the gcode file in one of my dropbox folders and open it in the app directly from dropbox.
