Stratasys Begins Offering FDM Filament Cannister Recycling Program
Stratasys has created what they call a "win-win" program which pulls in workers from a local organization called Lifeworks to staff a recycling effort for their FDM canisters and PolyJet cartridges. The program features a simple online interface for packaging and shipping the recyclable returns -- and it's free of charge. Yep, the company even covers the costs of shipping. They do put a lot of effort into stopping people getting cartridges to refill.
Stick them on ebay and get paid for someone to take them away seems a better option for most people.
Do bed magnets deteriorate.
