Printing Nylon with 5th Gen

Here is my first go at printing 618 Nylon with the 5th Gen. I am very happy with the results. I know a lot of people dont like the 5th Gen and have a lot of problems. But I love mine.

I just modified an ABS profile. Ran 230 C with fan off, .2 mm resolution, I used a glue stick to help stick to painters tape. The bottom couple of layers did warp up a bit, but not too bad.

I did this because a customer wanted a functional prototype out of Nylon, and I never say no.

I am working on the design of a heated build platform using 2 sheets of glass and a kapton heater with stand alone temp controller.
