    SD Card relocation

So, has anyone moved there SD card slot from the graphic LCD display? I am not liking how it is buried behind the from plate. I tried an extension cable for SD card but it doesn't work. The cable works fine. When you plug the end into the LCD display it still reads that there is a card there even though there isn't one in the other end.

I don't think that will work as I have a Rumba. The included SD card is located on the back of the display, tucking behind the brackets.

That was one of my deciding factors to get octoprint up and going :-)

The Octoprint thing seems like a cool Idea. So far I have taken on a bit too much I realize just getting the printer setup to produce quality prints. I know this printer can do some amazing things, I just need to get it there. Moving the SD card back and forth isn't hard, just annoying how the reader is placed.

Perhaps when I get some good prints going and the ABL up to my satisfaction I will look into the octoprint. That is just basically a Pie hooked up to the net and you connect your computer to the Pie through a browser right?

That looks like it would work nice. Have you tried this? The few videos I have seen so far just show pulling a pic from a cam and putting it on a computer.

It seems that there are instructions on how to do it on the Wanhao google groups.

    Add gmay3 on Thingiverse
tsteever, I would also throw a vote towards octoprint. It's really easy to set up and have a very nice GUI. Also if you want to add a webcam to your printer it's great!
