    Can i get some help please?

    hey everybody!! I have a question i was wondering if anyone could answer. would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a template for a 5/16 X 1/2 X 18 bolt? I know how to model parts in autodesk inventor but im unsure of how to do threads right. any knowledge of how to do threads for a bolt on autodesk inventor would also be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot in advance!!!

    If you go to manufacturers's sites they have libraries of their components (SKF for instance has a very useful cad library of their products). Most of the ones I knew were free : it is a way for them to push their products.

    Or you can do it yourself like that : http://grabcad.com/questions/tutoria...ds-in-catia-v5 I'm pretty sure the commands involved are similar. Perhaps you can just adapt the profile a bit.
