Ontario-based Voltera has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund their new Voltera V-One All-In-One Circuit Printer. The V-One is, effectively, a machine to 3D print two-layer circuit boards, and the crowdsourcing campaign has a $70,000 funding goal. Voltera notes the lack of a learning curve with their machine, including advanced, easy-to-use software. Basically, Gerber files go in and FR4 boards come out. Early bird Kickstarter backers (the first 20) can receive a V-One for $1,199, while backers after that initial rush can get the machines for $1,499; the first units are planned to ship out in September, with the second batch slated for January 2016.
