Dotan Koskas and Itzik Molcho of Something3D say they've built an FFF 3D printer that is capable of what's known as "full color" output. Depending on your definition of exactly what that means, it could well be a breakthrough moment for their company. As of now, the options for "full color" 3D printing are limited to devices like the 3D Systems Cube Pro and higher end offerings from Stratasys among others. The Something3D machine, called the Chameleon, uses what the firm says is a single, patent-pending nozzle system to create "full color" output using a combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White filaments.
