When Ruud Rouleaux began to focus his expertise in additives and master-batches for the plastics industry on creating 3D printer filaments during the summer of 2012, he became one of the leading lights in the field. Now the company he founded, ColorFabb, has released a carbon-fiber reinforced filament called XT-CF20 which they say is ideal for creating durable, finish-quality parts which feature a matte-black appearance. The material costs about $52 per 750kg spool and will begin shipping by the end of the month. You can read the whole story here: http://3dprint.com/42218/colorfabb-c...fiber-filament
