Prosthetic devices have come a long way in the last few years. Thanks in large part to e-NABLE, 3D printed prosthetic devices are becoming more affordable, functional, and even realistic. e-NABLE member Andreas Bastian has just taken the Raptor Reloaded prosthetic hand a step closer to a more natural hand-like appearance. With his newly designed Paintable Raptor Reloaded Fingertips, wearers of the Raptor prosthetic hand now have the option to paint their nails. Tinkerine Studios' Vice President of Market Direction, Todd Blatt, presented the idea to Bastian at CES earlier this month, and the design to appeal more toward young women who require prosthetic hands took off from there. Any nail polish can be used to decorate the nails on these fingertips. Check out more in the full article: http://3dprint.com/41042/prosthetic-hand-fingernails/
